What is PUFF PUFF (BEIGNET)?
Puff puff (Beignet) is a West African snack/pastry made of fried dough. It has a doughnut hole like texture but is slightly chewy. It is usually eaten as breakfast, appetizer, or desert depending on how you feel.
After frying, puff puff can be rolled in sugar like French beignet and Italian zeppole. It can be made with any spice or flavoring of your choice such as cinnamon, vanilla and nutmeg. It can also be infused with Nutella, or caramel making it slightly similar in taste to French beignets.
